The new Samaritan Ministries facility is a 2-story 20,000 Sq. Ft. facility. It was constructed to meet the needs of the homeless and those in need of a helping hand in difficult times in their lives.
About the Project
The facility contains a full service kitchen and dining areas that serve over 400 meals a day to those in the community in need. It also provides 80 beds and the accommodations including showers as well as washers and driers for guests in need of an overnight stay. It has load bearing masonry construction with face brick and insulated metal wall panels on the veneer of the building. The front of the new building is composed of a large radiused masonry wall that adds a touch of character to the facility.
Samaritan Ministries has also joined the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine on a program within the facility to help the homeless.
